Ranchi, Nov 21: The Jharkhand High Court while hearing a case related to financial irregularities in Jamshedpur bar on Monday sought explanation from Jharkhand DGP for delay in registration of FIR in the matter.
The development took place in the court of Chief Justice Dr Ravi Ranjan and Justice S.N. Prasad when the matter came for hearing in the court.
On behalf of the Bar Council, Jharkhand State Bar Council President and Advocate Rajendra Krishna presented the case.
The court has asked the DGP that when the matter came before the police, why the entry was made only in the station diary, why the FIR was not registered?
The court directed the DGP to file his reply through an affidavit in the matter. At the same time, the court has also directed the state Home Secretary and SSP of Jamshedpur parties in the matter.
Now the hearing in the matter will take place next week.
