Jamshedpur, March 18: Police on Saturday arrested four persons, including a minor for being indulged in the murder of a 24-year-old youth Sagar Sona at Bagunhatu under the Sidhgora thana area on March 14.
Those arrested were Saurabh Kumar, Sunny Kachhap, Suraj Bagchi and a 17-year-old boy.
A resident of Bagunhatu Sagar was found dead in the Subernarekha river along the Bagunhatu on Monday evening, leading the victim’s family to lodge an FIR with the Sight thana against the unknown.
OC, Sidhgora thana, Ranjit Kumar said that those arrested were friends of the victim, but they killed him due to a dispute over a monetary transaction between themselves.
Kumar while talking to the media said the four killed Sagar finding him alone at the Subernarekha river bank by using sticks and iron rods which have also been seized.
