Jamshedpur, Oct 12: Senior cop crunched Jamshedpur police have got three probationer Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSP) prior to Durga Puja.
Those inducted into the Jamshedpur police as probationer DSPs are Aqram Raza, a resident of Jamtara, Rohit Kumar Sao from Hazaribagh and Sunny Vardhan, a resident of Koderma.
Revealing about the induction of the three probationer DSPs, the Rural SP, Rishabh Garg said that the Jamshedpur police would benefit immensely from the service of the three senior officers, especially in view of maintaining law and order and vehicular traffic management during the ensuing Durga Puja.
“As the three probationer DSPs are not posted here, we will press them on law and order maintenance duty when the situation arises during the Durga Puja. Rendering services during the grand Puja festival in the steel city will also be a suitable experience for the probationer cops, ” said Garg while talking to lagatar24.com.
Garg who is doubling up as SP City said the three probationer DSPs will be getting virtual training during their six-month stint in Jamshedpur. He pointed out that after these officers’ probation period is over, they will be posted as DSPs in any of the districts across the state.
It may be mentioned here the posts of DSP-Traffic, DSP-City and DSP-Headquarters-II are lying vacant in the Jamshedpur. The post of SP City is also lying vacant here.
