Ranchi, Sept.9: A resident of Jamshedpur named Ashok Kumar Mishra filed a PIL before the Jharkhand High Court on Friday demanding the release of Rs 100 crore due to hospitals across the Jharkhand under the Ayushman Scheme and ensuring the right to health to poor patients including child, women and disabled.
The 37-year-old petitioner, who is a social worker, filing the PIL through his lawyer Sonal Tiwary demanded its urgent listing saying the matter is urgent as several hospitals in Jharkhand have started denying admission to the poor and marginalized patients under the Ayushman Scheme.
