Jamshedpur: SSP Kishor Kaushal conducts late-night road inspection, reviews security arrangements

Jamshedpur, Oct 22: The administration has made strict security arrangements regarding Durga Puja in Jamshedpur. The administration is also prepared regarding traffic.

SSP Kishore Kaushal is also keeping an eye on the security arrangements of the city. In this connection, he came out on the streets of the city late on Saturday night and took stock of the security arrangements. He also kept an eye on the city through CCTV surveillance from the police control room.

Kishor Kaushal mentioned at the scene that special attention is being paid to ensure that people are not inconvenienced in any way during Durga Puja. All preparations for this were completed well in advance. One-way traffic has been implemented around pandals and main roads to prevent crowds from gathering. Volunteers are also being used to assist.

SSP Kishor Kaushal stated that the safety of women is their top priority. To ensure the safety of women, a dedicated women’s wing has been set up, which is present at every pandal. All personnel are dressed in civilian attire.

It has been emphasized that strict action will be taken against anyone attempting to harass or molest women. In addition to this, control rooms have been established at all pandals, where surveillance is being carried out using CCTV cameras.
