Jamshedpur, July 2: Tata Steel has set up a Transport Park and Internal Circulation road besides other facilities for truckers at the Sidhgora- based CRM Bara Complex.
The sprawling area has been developed keeping in mind all security aspects for truckers and other stakeholders. It also houses a Canteen Building and Resting Place area for truckers and transporters.
The project will help to further decongest the Bara Complex area and its vicinity. Tata Steel took an initiative to construct state of an art facility which will provide a 24×7 parking area for trucks and heavy trailers up to 250 in number.
The truck parking area also has five high mast towers for proper lighting.
A new Reinforced Cement Concrete connectivity road has also been built from the main gate to the parking area.
Besides, a new way circulation area has been made to streamline the traffic and make the road safe for employees and other stakeholders. The entire facility has been built within one year.
