Jamshedpur: Tata Steel to host Green-a-thon on World Environment Day

Jamshedpur, June 1: Tata Steel is all set to host a Green-a-thon as part of the World Environment Day celebrations this year.

The Run will be organised on Sunday, June 4, 2023, at JRD Tata Sports Complex from 6 am onwards.

The registration is open for all the residents of Jamshedpur and interested people can register through the link https://forms.office.com/r/1HC4n6GiB8.

The run will be flagged-off at JRD Tata Sports Complex and will cover a route on the periphery of Jubilee Park. The registrations will close on June 2, Friday.

World Environment Day is celebrated every year on June 5 to spread awareness of issues related to the environment.

Every year, the United Nations focuses on new themes to promote actions for protecting the environment. This year, the theme is ” Beat Plastic Pollution.”
