Jamshedpur, Sept 18: Tata Steel UISL (formerly JUSCO ) in commemoration of the 9th anniversary of the Swachh Bharat Mission and the second anniversary of SBM- U 2.0 has commenced the ” Swacchhata Hi Seva” fortnight from September 15 to October 2.
As part of this fortnight, the Tata Steel subsidiary observed the Seva Divas on September 17 by partnering with the NCC team of the 37 Jharkhand Battalion and various NGOs to clean the Gandhi Ghat in Mango.
Spreading the message of a clean Jamshedpur City the drive inspired citizens to maintain cleanliness and represent the city as the proud Jamshedpur Jaguars in the upcoming Indian Swachhata League (ISL 2.0).
In this edition, 150 volunteers gathered at the scenic Jubilee Park collaborating with Tata Consulting Engineers to contribute towards a cleaner city.
These activities were carried out in coordination with the JNAC team, ensuring a comprehensive and impactful approach to cleanliness.
The Swachhata Hi Seva fortnight serves as a reminder of the importance of cleanliness and hygiene in daily life.
It also highlights the progress made over the past nine years in the Swachh Bharat Mission and the continued commitment to achieving a cleaner and healthier India.
