Jamshedpur, March 28: The long pending demand and efforts of the Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), the largest trade outfit of Kolhan finally got fulfilled with the decision to start Ranchi-Jaipur direct air service.
The trade body members and natives of Rajasthan from all over the state rejoiced at the decision over direct flight service between Ranchi and Jaipur.
The Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry today thanked the Union government, the state government and Union civil aviation minister Jyotiraditya Scindia for taking the decision to start direct air service from Ranchi to Jaipur.
SCCI president Vijay Anand Moonka and honorary general secretary of the trade body Manav Kedia today welcomed the decision and expressed happiness while talking to this portal. The trade body has been continuously trying for the Ranchi-Jaipur flight at every level for the last one-and-half years.
Moonka said that at first place, Union civil aviation minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot and state chief minister Hemant Soren as well as all MPs from Jharkhand were requested to start direct flights from Ranchi to Jaipur.
He went on to say that many people will be benefited from the start of the flight service between the two destinations. He told that a large number of people from Jharkhand state come from different parts of Rajasthan, especially Jaipur, Salasar, Khatu, Jhunjhunu, Ajmer etc.
He pointed out that there was no direct flight to Jaipur as a result of which one had to compulsorily board the train or take flights from Kolkata which took a lot of time and in case of emergency people could reach Jaipur or any other part of Rajasthan.
Apart from being a religious and educational place for pilgrimage, Rajasthan is also famous for tourism and that is why a direct flight from Ranchi to Jaipur was essential, said Moonka.
He said that with the commencement of direct flights from Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, everyone will be able to take advantage of it. He said that with the commencement of the flight service, the problems of the passengers will be solved and business activities will also increase.
Traders from all over the state particularly natives of Rajasthan appreciated the efforts of the Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
