Dhanbad, Oct 12: Jamtara MLA Dr Irfan Ansari has strongly protested Giridih district administration officers for calling the Muslim community ‘Kriyawadi Sangathan’ (Muslim Functional Organization) and has demanded action against them.
In the wake of Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s visit for the ‘Sarkar Apke Dwar’ programme which kick-started from Giridih today, the district administration and police administration issued a joint circular (order) for security deployment in the district.
The circular issued by the deputy commissioner and superintendent of police (SP) said there is information of danger to the chief minister from CPIML, PWG, Muslim Kriyawadi Sangathans and other militancy groups. So, the officers are deployed at different spots.
Dr Irfan Ansari, who is also the chairman of the Haj Committee, said it is wrong to level such allegations on the Muslim society and club the community with ultra organizations. The way Giridih district administration has put up the Muslim community in the line of militancy organization, it would not be tolerated at any cost.
“Minority community has major a role in forming the Hemant Soren-led government in Jharkhand but BJP and RSS-minded administrative officers are insulting and degrading this community. This is sending the wrong message to the youth of the community. In past also, the previous governments had done similar things,” said the Jamtara MLA who is in Kolkata.
Dr Irfan Ansari challenged Giridih district administrative officers to reveal the name of ‘Ugrawadi Muslim Sangathan’ if any of them exists in Jharkhand.
“Where would the Muslim society go now when it has to face such tags in its own government,” he questioned, adding, “It is a calculated conspiracy to defame the face of government in Jharkhand. So, I request the state government to take cognizance of it and punish the officials after identifying them.”
