Japanese Woman Falls to Death from 14th Floor Balcony in Gurugram

Gurugram: A 34-year-old Japanese woman, identified as Madoko Thamano, tragically lost her life after allegedly falling from the 14th-floor balcony of her apartment in Gurugram. The police are investigating the incident, which occurred on Friday morning.

Incident Details

According to police officials, Madoko Thamano had been living in Gurugram with her husband and two children since September last year.

The police were alerted after a blood-soaked body was found lying on the ground outside the residential society.

“We received a call about the incident on Friday morning. The body was recovered and sent for post-mortem,” said Inspector Sandeep Kumar, SHO of Sector 53 police station.

Investigation Underway

• The cause of the fall is yet to be determined.

• Post-mortem examination was conducted, and the body has been handed over to the family.

• The Japanese Embassy has been informed about the incident.

• The police are investigating all angles, including the possibility of suicide or foul play.

As the probe continues, authorities are expected to examine CCTV footage and speak to family members to piece together the events leading to the tragic fall.
