Jamshedpur, Aug 11: In a significant stride towards eco-friendly practices, Jamshedpur Continuous Annealing & Processing Company Private Limited (JCAPCPL) entered into a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Ampin Energy Transition Pvt. Ltd. (formerly known as Amp Energy India), for the installation of solar panels on the rooftop of the plant.
This landmark collaboration underscores the company’s unwavering commitment to green energy initiatives and environmental sustainability.
Ujjwal Chakraborti, managing director of JCAPCPL, and Pinaki Bhattacharyya, Managing Director and CEO, Ampin Energy signed the agreement to initiate the implementation process.
Under the terms of the agreement, JCAPCPL is set to install solar panels with a robust capacity of 2.8 MWp, harnessing the power of the sun to generate clean and renewable energy.
This progressive move not only demonstrates Company’s dedication to reducing its carbon footprint but also solidifies its role as a frontrunner in sustainable business practices within the industry.
