Ranchi, Feb 1: The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) is set to conduct the third round of interviews on the basis of the results of the Diploma Entrance Competitive Examination 2021 under Jharkhand Polytechnic 2021.

Earlier, the first and second rounds of online interviews have already been conducted. The third round is for nomination on the seats left vacant after enrollment in the respective institutions by the recommended candidates.

All the candidates allotted / unallocated and enrolled / unenrolled in the institutes from the first and second round online interview are eligible for this interview.

If the candidate enrolled on the basis of first and second round online interview gets the seat allotment in the third interview, then it will be mandatory for them to take enrollment in the new selected branch and/or institute as their earlier nomination will be automatically canceled and the seats vacated by them will be given to another candidate by the board on the basis of merit and choice.

Candidates may select their preferred institution or branch by clicking on the link ‘Click here for online counseling – JCECEB 2021’ available on the Board’s website. There is no restriction on the number of options to be selected. Candidates are, in fact, advised by the Board to select as many options as possible for allotment of seats.

Candidates have to pay the Interview Fee through Payment Gateway by Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking/ UPI which will be non refundable. The fee for General/EWS/BC-I/BC-II will be Rs 400, while the fee for SC/ST/Female candidates of all categories will be Rs 250.

Meanwhile, for downloading the provisional seat allotment letter, the candidates will be required to deposit the enrollment fee of Rs.1000 in the same manner as described above. If the candidates take enrollment in the allotted institute and continue their studies, then the amount of partial enrollment fee will be made available to the concerned institute for adjustment in the tuition fee, otherwise the amount of partial enrollment fee will be forfeited to the board. Partial enrollment fee will not be payable to the candidates enrolled in the first and second round of online interview.

Online registration and selecting choices for seat allotment can be done between February 1 and February 7. Provisional seat allotment letters will be issued between February 11 and February 16, while document verification and admission in the concerned institute will be done between February 11 and February 16 itself.
