Patna, Aug 9: Chief Minister and party leader Nitish Kumar has requested an appointment with Governor Phagu Chauhan on Tuesday amid political unrest in Bihar.

According to sources, the action is perceived as JD(U) breaking away from the BJP, dissolving the state’s ruling coalition, and uniting with the Mahagathbandhan, which has the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) as its principal member. According to other sources, Nitish Kumar has requested a meeting with the governor between 12:30 and 1pm, which Tejashwi Yadav, the leader of the RJD, may also attend.
