Jharkhand: 10 IPS, 7 DSPs among 125 to get Police Internal Security Service Medal

Ranchi, Dec.7: As many as 125 police officers and personnel, including 10 IPS officers and seven DSPs will be honoured with the Police Internal Security Service Medal of Jharkhand Police.

The decision was taken after the Apex Committee meeting for awarding the Internal Security Service Medal was held at Police Headquarters under the chairmanship of ADG JAP Prashant Singh on December 1.

The 10 IPS officers on the list include

  • Pankaj Kamboj
  • A Vijayalakshmi
  • M Tamilvanan
  • Indrajit Mahtha
  • Surendra Kumar Jha
  • Y S Ramesh
  • M Arshi
  • Prashant Anand
  • Ashutosh Shekhar
  • Vijay Shankar

The list of seven DSPs includes:

  • Raj Kumar Mehta
  • Ratibhan Singh
  • Anudeep Singh
  • Shambhu Kumar Singh
  • Deepak Kumar Pandey
  • Ashish Mahali
  • Prakash Soy

Apart from this the list also includes 107 Inspectors, sub-inspectors, Havildars and Constables.
