Ranchi, Dec.20: Amid din in the Jharkhand Assembly over the bungling in the JPSC PT, Chief Minister Hemant Soren today said ‘Manuwadi’ has created the furore after a large number of tribal, scheduled caste and backward class candidates qualified in the examination grabbing general seats.

He said those agitating against the PT examination are the VHP workers being paid from the backdoor and provided logistic support.

The Chief Minister’s statement on JPSC came when assembly proceedings started at 12.38pm and the CM in the capacity of leader of the house spoke.

CM Soren said that JPSC is an independent agency and this is for the first time the recruitment agency could conduct examinations without any interference of government and candidates in a big number could try their luck.

The CM while denying any irregularities in the 7th to 10th JPSC PT examination pointed out the irregularities done in holding the civil services examination in the past had led to the arrest of its chairman and brought the situation of a CBI probe which is still on.

The CM on the occasion alleged the BJP government of creating several mistakes in appointments and said that mistakes done by the previous government are being rectified by the present government.
