Ranchi, Sept.10: BJP state president Deepak Prakash organising a press conference at his party office in Jharkhand capital today condemned the incident of the lathi-charge on the BJP workers and following actions by the state government saying that the incident exposed the barbaric face of the state government which first used force on unarmed BJP workers marching peacefully towards the state assembly and then registered an FIR against them.

Punching holes in the government action, BJP president Prakash said the incident of lathi-charge took place on Wednesday while the government registered an FIR in this connection on Thursday. He further said the circle officer of Ranchi Sadar has been made an informant in the case while he was not present at the time of the incident.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren had expressed his concern over the delay in payment by Coal India to the state government during the assembly session on Thursday and had criticised the union government for the delay.

On which, Prakash during the press conference said the chief minister should also remember the amount coming for the district mineral foundation (DMF) from the union government when Shibu Soren was union minister.

Former state minister and BJP legislator Amar Kumar Bauri was also present during the press conference. He said the state government has become anti-Dalit and this was the reason his adjournment motion was not read in the house by the speaker. He said on several occasions the government has shown its anti-dalit face sharing some examples.
