Ranchi, Oct 18: The Jharkhand Cabinet meeting was held on Wednesday, chaired by Chief Minister Hemant Soren. In this meeting, a total of 29 proposals have been approved.
The main proposals which received the Cabinet’s approval are:-
1. The amount received by the employees as pension will be invested in the financial institution.
2. Formulation of regulations for the appointment of doctors in jail hospitals.
3. The cases registered regarding Bharat Bandh in 2018 will be withdrawn. The cases of Sanjay Mahali, Rupa Kujur, Sumanti Tudu, Surili Tudu will be withdrawn.
4. Jal Sahiyas will be paid outstanding honorarium and incentive amount.
5. Saree-Dhoti Scheme: Transport allowance of up to Rs 2 will be given to travel to the block headquarters.
6. Cabinet approves Mukhyamantri Gram Gaadi Yojana, distance and new rate fixed. Many facilities will be available.
7. To prevent the MLA fund from lapsing, the amount will now be kept in the bank and not in the PL account.
8. Under the Abua Housing Scheme, 8 lakh beneficiaries will receive permanent housing. This year, 2 lakh homes will be built, with a goal of constructing 8 lakh homes in the next 3 years.
