PINAKI MAJUMDAR

Jamshedpur, Dec 16:  The clear weather coupled with a favourable wind pattern resulted in a drop in minimum reading in most parts of the state during the past 24 hours.

Several places in central and northeastern parts of the state including Bokaro, Giridih, Deoghar, Khunti and Ramgarh recorded around 10 degrees Celsius.

As suggested by today’s Met statistics, Ranchi and Jamshedpur were a bit warmer.

According to the weatherman fog and mist will continue to prevail in the next 72 hours with a further fall in night readings.

ººA senior weather analyst said that the plummeting night readings would continue for the next 72 hours after which the night reading would again witness a rise.
