Ranchi, May 22: Chief Minister (CM) Hemant Soren during a meeting held today with the Jharkhand Urban Infrastructure Development Company Ltd. (JUIDCO) officials at his residential office stressed upon the need for timely completion of the project.

The stress was given when after the CM watched the power point presentation of the master plan of the proposed “Zonal Beautification and Redevelopment of Existing Street and Related Infrastructure from Albert Ekka Chowk to Kutchery Chowk and Surrounding Areas in Ranchi” by the JUIDCO officials.

Under the master plan, construction of three multi-level parking with vending zones, expansion of green area, widening of various roads and construction of under bypass road from Kutchery Chowk to Jail Chowk and including beautification of various infrastructure are included.

Apart from stress on timely completion of the project, Soren told the JUDCO officials to prepare a solid and better action plan for the development of the infrastructure of Ranchi city by using modern technology. He said that widening and strengthening of roads from Albert Ekka Chowk to Kutchery Chowk and from Ratu Road Chowk via Kutchery to Jail Chowk is essential.

“Traffic pressure is high in these major roads of Ranchi. Traffic jams happen every day. By arranging these roads, people can be saved from the situation of jam and both the time and money of the passengers will be saved,” he said.

Secretary to CM Vinay Kumar Choubey, JUDCO Project Director (Technical) Gopal, Project Manager Pratyush Chowdhary and other officials were present in the meeting.
