Ranchi, March 27: Shakeb Arsalan, Smriti Goel, and Aditya Kumar Sharma were felicitated by Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Hemant Soren, on Monday for their outstanding achievement in class XII and X CBSE Board Exams of 2022. A monetary prize, trophy, and merit certificate were given to the students. The CM congratulated the students and conveyed his best wishes for their future academic endeavours.

Aditya Kumar Sharma won the cash prize of two lakhs, while Shakeb Arsalan and Smriti Goel each received three lakhs.

Shakeb Arsalan and Smriti Goel secured 99.4 per cent in the All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) 2022 while Aditya Kumar Sharma secured 99.4 per cent in the All India Secondary School Examination (AISSE) 2022. Also, Shakeb (in the Humanities Stream) and Smriti (in Commerce Stream) bagged First Rank while Aditya Kumar Sharma secured Second Rank in the state.

Dr Ram Singh, the principal of DPS Ranchi, expressed his joy at the students’ success and stated, “students of DPS Ranchi leave no stone unturned to make their Alma mater proud whenever an opportunity knocks their door. Ranchi dipsites have always been raising the bar for their successors. I expect that the students will keep proving their mettle in the state, country and at the global platforms”.
