Dhanbad, April 21: Dhanbad doctor Dr Vivek Kumar has been felicitated with National Health Excellency award by Dasana Foundation, New Delhi for his outstanding contribution to the dental area.
Dr Vivek Kumar, the chairman of Jharkhand State Dental Council, was given this award jointly by India TV chairman cum chief editor Rajat Sharma and BJP MP Manoj Tiwary during the Dasana Dental conference held in the Constitutional Club of India, New Delhi on Thursday evening.
Over six hundred dentists from the country participated in the conference in which 70 dentists from different states were given different awards. Dr Vivek Kumar was also selected Versatile Dentist of the Year 2023 and National Health Excellency.
Dr Vivek is also an executive member of the Dental Council of India and has the credit of restoring biometric attendance facilities in 316 dental colleges across the country. He has also the credit for getting recognition from RIMS Dental College Ranchi.
This is the second time in a year that Dr Vivek Kumar has been felicitated. On March 1, Indian Dental Association (IDA) felicitated him at a function held in Abdul Kalam Hall, Mumbai for his contribution to the dental field. Dr Kumar is the son of the Congress State Disciplinary Committee chairman Brajendra Prasad Singh.
