Ramgarh, Dec.1: The farewell ceremony of the Jharkhand Divyang cricket team was organized today at Hotel Shivam Inn in Ramgarh. The team has left for Rajasthan to play in a national cricket tournament.
Chief patron of Jharkhand Board of Divyang Cricket Association and youth social worker Vijay Mewar was present at the event as chief guest. He along with President Rima Sahu, senior leader of Janata Party Radheshyam Agarwal, Sony Sah got acquainted with the players and garlanded everyone. They also gave their blessings to the players by giving them jerseys.
Athar Ali, Secretary of Asian Sports for Disabled said, “The inaugural match of Jharkhand Divyang cricket team will be with Rajasthan. This event has been organized at JK Pavilion (International Stadium) Nayapura, Kota Stadium in Rajasthan.”
The tournament will be organized on December 3-4 on the occasion of World Disabled Day. The inaugural match of the Jharkhand team will be with the Rajasthan team.
“Jharkhand team is confident to win the match,” added Athar Ali.
