Ranchi, Dec.15: A threatening letter was received at the official residence of Jharkhand’s education minister Jagarnath Mahto in the Jharkhand capital.
The letter sent through the postal department threatens him of taking life in case of his denial to increase grants of inter and degree colleges. The letter directs him not to make Khatiyan base for identifying locals.
Earlier, a similar letter was sent to Mahto’s Bokaro residence on Wednesday.
The writer has identified himself as a forward class resident having his roots outside Jharkhand.
Security has been beefed up at his residences after the receipt of threatening letters.
