Ranchi, May 31: The Jharkhand government today granted residential land leases to ten Mushahar families in Koiripatra village, Naudiha panchayat, Nilambar Pitambar block, Palamu district.

All of the families have been given 3-decimal residential land on which they will build their own homes. In addition, all Mushahar families will soon benefit from the Ambedkar Awas Yojana to build houses.

Aside from that, the government has taken the initiative to prepare Aadhar cards for Mushahar families whose Aadhaar cards have not been created yet. They will also benefit from various government programmes, such as the universal pension and the Mukhyamantri Pashudhan Yojana, among others.

The process of identifying Mushahar families living in other parts of the district will also connect them with the government schemes.
