Ranchi: On the third day of the Jharkhand Assembly Budget Session, Finance Minister Radhakrishna Kishore presented a third supplementary budget of Rs 6,450 crore. Alongside the budget presentation, several important public issues concerning students, landholders, and citizens were raised during Zero Hour.

Details of the Supplementary Budget

The Rs 6,450 crore supplementary budget provides additional financial allocations for various departments to support ongoing schemes and development projects. The government described the move as a step aimed at accelerating development works across the state.

Key Public Issues Raised in the House

During the session, both ruling party and opposition MLAs highlighted matters related to students, raiyats (landholders), and other sections of the public. Legislators sought the government’s attention on issues affecting education, land rights, and welfare concerns.

The budget session witnessed active participation from members, reflecting ongoing debates over policy implementation and resource allocation in the state.
