Jamshedpur, Dec 3: Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Friday promised to help SHGs (Self Help Groups) in marketing their products. Citing examples of indigenous products manufactured by women SHG in the State under the banner ‘Palash’, he said that if the products are manufactured on a large scale the State Government will buy those products.
He was addressing a function organised as part of ‘Aapke Adhikaar, Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwaar’ at Serengsia in Tonto block of Chaibasa, West Singhbhum district.
The CM also motivated the youths to take up the business of egg production. He promised that the Deputy Commissioner of their respective districts will make an agreement with them and buy the products on behalf of the State. The government is ready to buy such products available in the market.
Soren further added that the priority of the government is farmers, poor, labourers and other needy. The government’s schemes are designed for the needy people. But in rural areas, the villagers do not get the proper benefits of the schemes. That is why the government has decided that the government will go door to door to inform them about the schemes.
The Chief Minister reiterated that the government is committed to provide employment to the youth in the state. In this regard, the appointment policy has been prepared. Mass recruitment process has been started, local youths will be benefitted. In Gua, the families of the martyrs have been given jobs. The government is making changes in the rules for first physical and later written examination in constable recruitment. The Chief Minister said that apart from the job, there are other possibilities. Self-employment can be created through these schemes. Efforts are being made to give benefits on a large scale under the employment generation scheme.
On this occasion, Minister Women Child Development and Social Security Joba Manjhi, former Chief Minister Madhu Koda, Majhgaon MLA Neeral Purti, Chakradharpur MLA Sukhram Oraon, Jagannathpur MLA Sonaram Sinku, Kharsawan MLA Dashrath Gagrai, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Dr. Rajeev Arun Ekka, Commissioner Kolhan Division Manoj Kumar, Deputy Commissioner Chaibasa Ananya Mittal, Superintendent of Police Chaibasa Ajay Linda and others were present.
On the occasion, the CM laid the foundation stone of a total of 16 schemes worth Rs 7,78,90,743 and two schemes constructed at a cost of Rs 1,08,66,373 were launched.
Under new schemes, a 2490 feet PCC path from Shiv Mandir of Jaintgarh Panchayat under Jagannathpur block to High School via Panchayat Bhawan, at the cost- Rs 34,50,692 will be constructed. Moreover, 1620 PCC road construction from in front of village Sonaposi School of Karanjia Panchayat under Jagannathpur block to Sonaposi Tola Lohabeda, at cost Rs 26,50,300 will take place. One kilometer PCC road construction from main road to Padampur school in Serengsia village under Tonto block, cost- ? 61,23,500 will be constructed. The schemes also include: construction of 2000 feet PCC path from Deepshahi Chowk to Ho Tola of Jagannathpur Panchayat under Jagannathpur block, cost- Rs 38,76,800, construction of guard wall in Serengsia football ground of Serengsia Panchayat under Tonto block, cost- Rs 15,25,600 and construction of six pucca shed in place of shed situated in dilapidated condition in Jagannathpur market complex of Jagannathpur Panchayat under Jagannathpur block, cost- Rs 72,57,500.
