Jharkhand Governor CP Radhakrishnan releases book on yoga

Ranchi, June 20: On the eve of World Yoga Day, Jharkhand Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan today released a book “Paramparik Yoga ” written jointly by Parineeta Singh and Archana Kumari at Raj Bhavan.

One of the writers, Singh, said that it was their third book based on Yoga, before that they had also written books named “Yoga in a Vision” and “Abhyasam”.

She said that the purpose of the book is to express their loyalty towards Indian culture. “This book is useful for all age groups,” she said.

Another writer Archana Kumari said: ” In the book, an attempt has been made to explain the subtle knowledge of Yoga in both theoretical and practical form. Simple language has been used in this book which can be easily understood by anyone.

Director of AYUSH Dr Fazlus Shami and Jharkhand State Ayush Consultative Committee convenor Dr. Rajeev Kumar were also present on the occasion

Currently, Parineeta Singh is working as a guest faculty at the School of Yoga, Ranchi University. Archana Kumari is working as a yoga instructor in the State Yoga Center under the Jharkhand Directorate of AYUSH, a wing of the health department.
