Ranchi, April 27: Governor Ramesh Bais today met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and home minister Amit Shah in New Delhi.
The purpose of the meeting was to make them aware of the current situation in Jharkhand.
Though the matter of discussion could not be known, the meeting is considered important in the situation when controversy over the alleged misuse of the official position by chief minister Hemant Soren is ongoing in the state and the ruling party and oppositions are meeting governor separately taking the issue in turn.
Apart from this, the main opposition party of the state, BJP, has started agitation against the state government for later’s failure in maintaining proper law and order, carrying out developmental activities, failure to supply adequate water and power, conducting Panchayat elections without giving reservation to OBC besides others.
