Chakulia, June 18: Under tight security, Governor CP Radhakrishnan participated in a direct dialogue program with the villagers on Sunday at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhavan located in Bhatkunda of Chakulia block. The Governor was welcomed with music.
The Governor inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. He said that the villagers should be aware and take advantage of government schemes and develop themselves. Women should make better use of the funds received by the government. Abstain from alcohol and build a better family and society and educate your kids. He said that it is his endeavour that you do not have to come to the Raj Bhavan. Raj Bhavan came to you. He urged everyone to work together for better work in the field of development.
Pattas of land were given to two beneficiaries by the hands of the Governor. Under Phulo Jhano Ashirwad Yojana, three sisters were given Rs 10,000 each for self-employment. 1.95 crore was given to 34 women groups under JSLPS credit linkage. Deputy Development Commissioner Manish Kumar gave the welcome speech at the function. The Governor interacted directly with many villagers.
