RAJ KUMAR

Ranchi, May 17:  Governor of Jharkhand Ramesh Bais has returned the ‘Jharkhand State Agricultural Produce and Livestock Marketing (Promotion and Facilitation) Bill, 2022’ passed by the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly to the State Government with the objection that there is a difference in the Hindi and English versions of the Bill.

After rectifying the discrepancies found in the Hindi and English versions, the bill should be re-passed by the assembly after reprinting and should send it again to get his consent.

This is the fourth bill passed by the state government which has been returned to the state government by the Governor due to differences in Hindi and English versions of the bills.
