Ranchi, Jan.12: Jharkhand Governor Ramesh Bais today summoned DGP Neeraj Sinha to seeking information regarding the incident of mob lynching in Simdega which is in limelight in the state.
The development took place a day after Sapna Devi, the widow of victim Sanju Pradhan knocked the door of Raj Bhawan for a CBI probe into the matter explaining how her husband was assaulted and set on fire to death in front of her by a mob on January 4.
Earlier, a delegation of BJP leaders had also met the governor on the matter demanding proper compensation of the dependents of victims
Governor Bais took strong exception to the incident that took place at Besrajara in Simdega.
