Deoghar, Nov 19: Jharkhand Governer Ramesh Bais has appealed the educationist to translate at least one book of any subject into Hindi. He was addressing a seminar on National Education Policy 2020 in AS College, Deoghar.
Addressing the seminar organized by Nation Economic Association and Bihar Economic Association, he outlined the National Education Policy (NEP). He said that a nation gets it recognition by its qualitative educational policy on global platform. By optimum utilisation of national talent and resources multi dimensional development of human being can be achieved. Keeping this in mind, the NEP 2020 has been formulated, he added.
The NEP 2020 tries to bridge us to our mother tongue and has respect for language at same time. New educational policy emphasis to adopt mother tongue because our thought, behaviour and culture are integrated with it. After the implementation of this policy our student will not lag behind only because of language, he said. He categorically claimed that the NEP 2020 is practical and in the national favour.
The new NEP 2020 will change the mindset to get job into being employer. He said that emphasis has been given to research work in this policy. One can research better when one can think in ones mother tongue because thought germinates in mother language.
According to Jharkhand Governer, the use of mother language will be implemented from primary education. We have suffered a lot only due to lack of these, he claimed. If the primary education is imparted in other languages it will adversely affect the thinking capacity and such education system deprives one from ones history society and culture he added.
The new education policy would not confine only to class room but it would be vocational. Vocational knowledge deserves to build a man great. If a man is to be made great his thought process, analytical and decision making power should be developed.
The new education policy gives freedom to choose the subject and exit or enter it at any point of time and thus it facilitates the multidimensional development. Last but not the least, Jharkhand Governer Ramesh Bais claimed by implementation of NEP 2020 dream of self-reliant India can be realised.
Notably before attending seminar, the Jharkhand Governer inaugurated an IGNOU centre at Taksh Shila Vidya Pith and foundation stone of Jharkhand open university was laid in AS College by him.
The seminar was attended by VC Dr Sona Minza of SKMU and others including Deoghar DC Manju Nath Bhajantri and SP Subash Jatt.
