Ranchi, June 3: The Jharkhand High Court today directed the chief secretary of Jharkhand to produce Deoghar deputy commissioner and Mohanpur circle officer by 8PM in the court.
Justice Rajesh Kumar while giving the direction threatened dire consequences in case of their non-appearance on scheduled time. The court said that it will issue a warrant of arrest against both of them if they fail to turn up before the court.
The court also directed the Mohanpur circle office to appear before the court along with the receipt of the registry which he maintains in his office regarding the application received for grant of land possession certificate (LPC).
The order was given while hearing a petition on delay in issuance of the LPC. Sunil Kumar Sharma had filed the petition last year in this connection.
