Ranchi, May 17: The Jharkhand High Court today directed the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) to release the result of the interview organized for the selection of seven assistant professors of Ho language by July 31.

A bench of Justice S.N.Pathak gave the direction observing that delay in result publication adversely affects the career of candidates. He was of the opinion that delay not only wastes time but also restricts candidates to plan their future.

The direction was given after the court heard the petition of Saraswati Gagrai saying as many as 20 candidates were interviewed in March last year for seven seats but results remained unpublished so far.

Advocate Subhashish Rasik Soren appeared on behalf of Gagrai. Advocates Sanjoy Piparwal and Prince Kumar appeared on behalf of the JPSC.
