Ranchi, Dec 16: The Jharkhand High Court on Friday rejected the petition of para teachers demanding regularisation of those para teachers who have completed 15 years.
A division bench headed by chief justice Dr Ravi Ranjan passed the order after hearing arguments from all sides. About 111 para teachers had filed the petitions.
Petitioners including Sunil Kumar Yadav apart from regularisation of their service also demanded assistant teacher status for them. They justified their demand by saying they were working for more than 15 years. They argued they also fulfil the qualification for the post of teacher.
