Ranchi, Jan.12: The Jharkhand High Court today stayed the order by Ranchi Municipal Corporation which directed to demolish the building constructed beside Harmu rivulet in Hinoo.
Justice Rajesh Shanker passed the order, giving opportunity to petitioner Ram Lakhan Singh to knock the door of appropriate forum to challenge the order of civic body and during the pendency of the matter, the court restrained the civic body to take any action.
The direction has come as relief to owners of several houses constructed besides water bodies in the municipal area.
