Ranchi, Dec. 13: The Jharkhand High Court today suggested Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) to install one more MRI machine to ensure that patients do not suffer in case of overcrowding and malfunctioning of solitary MRI machines.
The suggestion was given by a division bench headed by Chief Justice Dr Ravi Ranjan while hearing a petition involving appointment of 169 attendants for laboratory and wards and mismanagement in the premier state run health institute.
The court underlined the importance of having additional MRIs machines saying MRI could not be done when a high court judge had gone for treatment there.
The court, on the occasion, also directed RIMS to hand over the roster of class IV employees to the court and verbally asked why the matter of recruitment of attendants be not handed over to the ACB for proper investigation.
The court with the above suggestions, directions and observation deferred the hearing in the matter till Thursday (Dec.15).
