Ranchi, Oct 6: The Centre today approved four out of 5 names proposed by the Supreme Court Collegium in the matter of appointment of judges to the Jharkhand High Court. The four names that have been approved include the names of Gautam Kumar Chaudhary, Ambuj Nath, Navneet Kumar and Sanjay Prasad.
After the consent of the Central Government, the notification of appointment has been issued by Rashtrapati Bhavan and the Central Law and Justice Department. All the five judges who have got the approval of the collegium are officers of the State judicial service.
