The development took place in the court of Justice S Chandrashekhar, where a petition related to regularization of the building plan was listed for hearing.
The high court asked the state government to tell how many town planners are there in the state and how many posts are sanctioned for them? The high court asked to make the court aware of the number of vacancies besides other relevant details.
The deadline the court has given to furnish the information is December 15 which is the next date of hearing in the matter.
Radhika Shahdev and Lal Chintamani Nath Shahdev have filed a petition in this regard. During the hearing, Gajanand Ram, the town planner of the state government, was also present.
Earlier, while hearing this matter, the court had sought information from the government regarding permanent appointment against sanctioned posts in Ranchi Municipal Corporation and RRDA. It was said on behalf of Gajanand Ram that appointment to the sanctioned post in Ranchi Regional Development Authority has not been made.
