Ranchi: The Jharkhand High Court while monitoring the CBI probe into the death of Dhanbad judge Uttam Anand expressed dissatisfaction over the ongoing investigation. The court told the CBI that they don’t have any new pieces of evidence in the case. And they have not yet moved ahead from those two culprits, the court observed.
During the previous hearing, the court had observed that by seeing the reports of the CBI it appeared that the auto driver had hit the judge intentionally and not in a drunken state.
Home Secretary, FSL Director ordered to be present in next hearing
The Court has also shown resentment on the shortage of FSL manpower and resources. The JPSC informed the court that they had pushed the advertisement for the filling of the vacant seats in March, but it got canceled. The court has summoned the home secretary and the FSL Director during the next hearing which will happen after one week. The Court showing resentment said that the State Government has still not re-initiated the advertisement for filling the vacant seats after cancellation. Moreover, the court giving an oral remark said that the government wants the court to be in dark.
