Ranchi, Sept 20: The Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) has taken an initiative to promote cricket at the grassroot level as they will be granting an amount of Rs one lakh to all district associations to set up turf wickets. Moreover, they will also provide a roller for the same.

Apart from this, JSCA will also grant an additional Rs one lakh for setting up offices and for other works related to cricket.

To set up turf wickets, JSCA will be providing technical support to district associations and will also provide training to budding groundsmen to take proper care of ground and wickets. JSCA has also instructed all the district associations to look for grounds.

In November, teams of trainers and physios from JSCA will be setting up workshops in the 23 districts across the state.
