Jharkhand Labour minister inaugurates GoodWorker’s resource and migration support centre in Ranchi

Ranchi, Nov. 2: In an effort to provide jobs to the youth of Jharkhand, GoodWorker opened its first resource and migration support centre at KantaToli in the Jharkhand capital

 

State labour minister Satyanand Bhogta inaugurated the centre and shared his vision and encouragement for improving employment opportunities for Jharkhand
youth. On this occasion, he also handed over offer letters to 50 candidates, in presence of employers.

 

Those present on the occasion included senior officials of the labour ministry and
Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society (JSLPS), including labour, employment and training department secretary Pravin Toppo, Secretary; director of the directorate of employment and training Neha Arora, Director, chief executive officer of JSLPS Nancy Sahay, managing director of JSDMS Sunil Kumar and some key employers recruiting via the GoodWorker platform.

 

GoodWorker platform has 1Lakh + verified job opportunities in sectors such as Apparel, Logistics, ITES, Field Sales, Retail and Engineering.

 

GoodWorker seeks to provide verified and trusted jobs to youth via a phygital approach – combining digital presence with extensive reach on ground. It seeks to leverage the entire ecosystem via partnerships and has already signed memoranda of understanding with DET and JSLPS (Jharkhand state livelihood promotion society) – enabling it to reach across the skilling ecosystem, employment exchanges and state ITIs.

GoodWorker also has a national partnership with Common Services Centre(CSC)- leveraging its entire village level entrepreneurs (VLE) network for reaching all job aspirants.

Resource and migration support centres are key to connecting youth to suitable jobs via face-to-face counseling and joining facilitation.

GoodWorker aims to set up such centres across key states in the country and is thankful to the state of Jharkhand for being the first one to enable

the same.

On this occasion, chief operating officer (COO) of GoodWorker, Ketul Acharya, expressed his gratitude towards the state government for giving his company an opportunity to work.
