Jharkhand logs 2,015 fresh cases, 9 deaths in last 24 hours

Ranchi, Jan 22: New Covid infections, continued to decrease with 2,015 new cases being reported during the last 24 hours in the state on Friday taking the total number of active cases to 23,770 with 3,814 recoveries and nine deaths.

While three casualties were reported from East Singhbhum, two each from Ranchi and Deoghar and one case each from Khunti and Dhanbad.

The total number of Covid-19 cases in the state since the outbreak of the pandemic has reached 4,17,403 out of which 3,88,389 have recovered and 5,244 have scummed to the virus.

Ranchi with 487 new cases remained at the top followed by East Singhbhum with 466 new cases.
