Ranchi, Jan 18: New Covid infections, continued to decrease with 2,499 new cases being reported during the last 24 hours in the state on Monday taking the total number of active cases to 29,974 with 4,266 recoveries and six deaths.
While six casualties were reported from East Singhbhum.
The total number of Covid-19 cases in the state since the outbreak of the pandemic has reached 4,07,808 out of which 3,72,625 have recovered and 5,209 have scummed to the virus.
East Singhbhum with 591 new cases remained at the top followed by Ranchi with 584 new cases.
