Jharkhand logs 261 fresh Covid cases, 400 recoveries in last 24 hours

Ranchi, Feb 11: New Covid infections, continued to decrease with 261 new cases being reported during the last 24 hours in the state on Thursday taking the total number of active cases to 2,088 with 400 recoveries and no casualties.

As many as 48,751 samples were tested across the state on Thursday of which 261 returned positive, indicating a positivity rate of 0.53%.

The total number of Covid-19 cases in the state since the outbreak of the pandemic has reached 4,32,748 out of which 4,25,346 have recovered and 5,314 have scummed to the virus.

East Singhbhum with 99 new cases remained at the top followed by Ranchi with 35 new cases.

The recovery rate stood at 98.28% and the mortality rate at 1.22%.
