Ranchi, Feb 9: New Covid infections, continued to decrease with 264 new cases being reported during the last 24 hours in the state on Tuesday taking the total number of active cases to 2,272 with 412 recoveries and one death.
While one causality was reported from Dhanbad taking the total death toll in the district to 399 since the beginning of the pandemic.
The total number of Covid-19 cases in the state since the outbreak of the pandemic has reached 4,32,169 out of which 4,24,583 have recovered and 5,314 have scummed to the virus.
East Singhbhum with 111 new cases remained at the top followed by Ranchi with 38 new cases.
