Daltonganj, Jan 28: The man-eating leopard of Garhwa has become ‘traceless’ over the last three to four days. Sources said it has not been either eye sighted or its pug marks have been discovered last few days.
The last time it was sighted and pug marks were found was when the leopard was under the Ranka block.
The conservator of forest Garhwa Dileep Kumar Yadav was contacted by lagatar24.com today to know the ‘whereabouts’ of the leopard and was informed that their teams have not found any trace or track of the leopard in the past three days or so.
“Our teams have also not found pug marks of it. We are concerned about the leopard as to where after all it is or where it has gone,” reiterated the IFS officer.
No small animal owner has also come forward regarding any killing of their pet animals like goats, calves etc.
The conservator of forest said, “I have given strict instructions to our entire fleet of teams to spread out and find out the status of the leopard. Our teams will be fanning out in every corner for the leopard.”
