Jamshedpur, Dec 26: Minimum temperature witnesses rise across the state due to the dominating southwesterly wind.
Weathermen said the southwesterly currents usually result in moisture incursion into the atmosphere, which raises the minimum reading.
No significant synoptic features prevail in Jharkhand. Weathermen ruled out any western disturbance or rain during the next five days.
According to weathermen, dry weather would prevail in Jharkhand for the next few days.
The minimum temperature is again expected to witness a fall after the next 24 – hours.
Statistics revealed that Ranchi recorded a minimum temperature of around 16 degrees Celsius, six notches above normal while steel city Jamshedpur recorded around 13 degrees, two notches above normal.
Daltonganj, Bokaro and Ramgarh recorded around 12 degrees Celsius while Deoghar, Giridih and several other places in the Santhal Pargana region recorded minimum temperatures between 13-14 degrees Celsius.
