Ranchi, July 31: BJP and Congress have clashed after three Congress MLAs from Jharkhand were caught with cash in West Bengal. The politicians of Jharkhand strongly reacted through Twitter.

Former Minister of Jharkhand and Independent MLA Saryu Rai demanded an ED probe into the matter and said that Jharkhand Pradesh Congress and All India Congress office bearers should clarify whether their MLAs were coming to or going from Jharkhand with the money.

@narendramodi

Former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi took to Twitter to attack the three Congress MLAs caught with the money in Bengal.

“This state has been shamed in the country and the world because three Congress MLAs from Jharkhand were caught with the money in Bengal. Till now Chief Minister Hemant Soren has remained silent on whatever action has been taken by ED in Jharkhand,” he said in a tweet.

BJP’s state president and Rajya Sabha MP Deepak Prakash expressed his anger over Congress MLAs being caught with cash in Bengal.

MP Nishikant Dubey demanded a CBI probe into the matter. BJP MP Sanjay Seth said that the recovery of the huge amount of cash from the vehicle of Congress MLAs of Jharkhand in West Bengal raises questions about the state government. He said that the MLAs being detained is a serious issue. He further demanded that the state government inform the public of the owner of the money.
